What is a Sensei?

When a student reaches black belt at Karma, they are encouraged to teach aspects of the class. It is an excellent way for them to stay revised on the more basic elements, and the chance for the coloured (kyu) belts to learn from many different Sensei is a rare opportunity in martial art’s dojos. It gives them the chance to see slightly different techniques and know what is the core importance of each move. It is also good to see how people of different height, weight and strength perform techniques for maximum effect.
